Kirk Rawlins came to BYU-Idaho in 2006 having graduated from Ricks College with a degree in Graphic Design 13 years earlier. In between, he completed a bachelor's in small business management and an MFA in art while working in pre-press, printing, graphic design, video, multimedia, web design and marketing. He has managed creative agencies and spent five years as a partner in his own interactive design firm. At BYU-Idaho he has worked as a temporary faculty member teaching design and typography and overseen a student creative agency serving the Student Activities program. He is now the University Communications Director with responsibility for university branding & strategy, online communication, creative services, and the university MarComm team.
