Introduction

David Belka received a BFA from the University of Utah, along with a certificate in secondary education, and an MA in Art Education at Brigham Young University. He taught art in the secondary public school system at West Lake Junior High School and at Taylorsville High School in the Salt Lake City area. Bro. Belka currently is the director for the Art Education program at BYU-Idaho.

Bro. Belka's primary interests are in painting and photography, but he often experiments with other media that is often found in a secondary classroom such as collage, relief printing, markers, and colored pencil.
