Bachelor of Arts - Standard Studio Art Printmaking Emphasis
Bachelor of Arts -Standard Studio Art Printmaking Emphasis
The Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree is the standard art degree. All students who major in studio art will choose an emphasis area: 2D, 3D, Graphic Design, Illustration, or Photography. Those that don't pursue the BFA degree, stay in this degree. This degree has open enrollment and doesn't require an application or portfolio for admission.
Students receive a broad and focused foundation in visual art. Skill development and conceptual thinking interact to prepare students to become artists, prepare for graduate school, or to choose a lifetime involvement in the arts. Students select an emphasis area to deepen skills in drawing, painting, or printmaking, focusing their learning to develop into skilled and sensitive artists. Students will complete their education with a portfolio in their emphasis area.
