ALUMNI

Afton, Wyoming, (and a Ricks graduate) into its heart. In
"The Gentle Giant: The Rulon Gardner Story"
we look at a young man who achieved the impossible at this year's
Olympics and is said to have single-handedly revived the spirit of
the games

CONTINUING
THE TRADITION At the very least, President Hinckley gave
everyone associated with Ricks College something to talk about at
his press conference on June 21 of this year. A least around
campus it has become referred to as "The Announcement"
about "The Transition." In his article "BYWho?
BWhyU?" Traditions editor Brett Sampson discusses what
alumni and friends are saying and what the implications are for the
future of this Institution -- whatever it's called now.
