REMEMBERED Students, alumni and friends gathered during
Homecoming 2000 in mid-October to bid a fond farewell to the
venerable Spori Building. Spori Memories: The End of an Era
chronicles the celebration as well as the unexpected fire that broke
out during the demolition of the building.

THE TRADITION After learning that Traditions Editor, Brett
Sampson, occasionally meets individuals who give money toward
priorities such as scholarships, Jessica Bagley, a recent
scholarship recipient, gave him an open “thank you” letter from
which he based his article "One Scholarship, One Life Changed."

IN THE SERVICE OF OTHERS
In his inaugural response in 1998, President David
A. Bednar urged employees of Ricks College to “(reach) out to
bless the lives of young Latter-day Saints throughout the world.”
