Memories of Ricks
I will never forget Ricks College. I attended Ricks College about 12 years
ago. I really liked the way of life there. I have very fond memories.
Life here in California is so different. I have two children now, and I
would like for them to attend this fine school some day. There they can be safe
and guided by such awesome faculty.
I was a troubled teen from California. I met two missionaries who told me
about that school which I had never heard about. I decided to go there and see
if all the things I had heard were true. Everything was true. It made such a
difference in my life that I can honestly say I was not only physically saved
but also spiritually as well.
For as long as I live I will never forget Ricks and the people that made
such difference in my life. I just want to say thank you to everyone there.

Thoughts from a Sunbird
While I am not an alumna of Ricks College, I did spend about ten summers in your
community and thoroughly enjoyed the campus … especially the wonderful library.
Since I do make a modest contribution each year, I have been receiving the
Summit Magazine for some time. I was particularly excited when this issue
arrived today with the picture of the new Spori Building on the cover.
Alas, I find the publication almost impossible to read because of the small
print! …
It certainly is a beautifully presented publication. I cannot argue with
that. But I wonder just how [readable] it is for alumni? Granted they are not
all 82 as I am.
Thank you for listening!

The Impact of an
Intern
Michelle [Petersen] excelled at learning what was required of her and I could
not ask for a better employee. She will be a tremendous benefit to any
organization. If we were to have a full-time position open up, I would offer it
to Michelle in an instant. It is very clear after working with other students
from around the U.S. that BYU–Idaho is an institution of learning and high
values.
