The BYU-Idaho Placement Manager organizes the alumni network to perpetuate career development. The Alumni Placement Manager's focus is on Alumni and students. The Alumni Placement Manager does not engage in philanthropy requests. The Alumni Placement Manager is the traveling face of the Alumni Office and encourages BYU-Idaho and Ricks College graduates to identify with the BYU-Idaho brand in effort to unify the alumni base.

ABOUT STEVEN DALLING
Steven was born and raised in Rexburg, but has also lived in Boise, Idaho; Louisville, Kentucky; Richmond, Virginia; San Pedro Sula, Honduras; Moscow, Idaho; and Rigby, Idaho. Steven married the former Brooke Merritt in 2005 and they have four children (Payton, Paisley, Brynlee, and Luke). Steven studied Spanish Education and American Government at BYU-Idaho and still holds a valid teaching certificate. Steven acquired his law degree from the University of Idaho in 2009 and still runs a successful civil/private law practice. Steven has also worked with several judges and prosecutors thereafter serving as the Jefferson County Chief Deputy Prosecutor from 2014 to 2016 handling hundreds of cases ranging from felony sex crimes, drug trafficking, property/theft cases, white collar crimes and juvenile/child protection matters. Additional professional/entrepreneurial experiences include owning multiple tax preparation franchises and a commercial property management company.
Steven's charitable/volunteer work includes a full-time LDS mission to Honduras, Eagle Scout honors, an internship with Congressman Mike Simpson's office and volunteering with the Romney campaign in 2012. Steven also founded the Javi Gema Help Corporation/Child Help Fund which is a 501(c)(3) public charity, benefiting children in Honduras in need of medial and educational assistance. In his spare time, Steven serves as an Adjunct Professor at BYU-Idaho in the Spanish Department and enjoys skiing, snowmobiling, reading, and golf.
