--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Have you considered what you might do once your academic program at BYUI is completed?
Are you thinking about graduate school?
Do you want to pursue an advanced degree in your area of study?
Are you interested in the future of science related industry and careers?
Perhaps you are interested in a food science or dietetics career?
If you answered yes to these questions you might be interested in visiting the University of Idaho in Moscow. The BYUI administration and the UI administration have worked together in creating a special "Open House for BYUI" students. The open house includes a day of visiting the UI campus including meeting with specific undergraduate and graduate school administrators, faculty and students. BYUI administration has chartered a bus for you to travel to Moscow and will provide motel and lodging accommodations for two nights. The open house will be on October 17 with travel days on October 16 and 18. A small fee of $25 per student will reserve your spot on the bus. Contact the Career and Academic advising office now in Benson 209 or phone 208-496-2483!
Students in the following areas will find this opportunity most beneficial: Horticulture, Food Science, Biotechnology, Agricultural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Natural Resource Management, Nutrition/Dietetics, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Electronics, etc.
