Mystery Dinner

MC Little Theatre
6:00 PM - 7:30 PM (must be in seat 15 minutes early)
$13

Tickets available at the Bookstore only. You come in person to choose your character and get your invitation information.

Come solve the Who-Dun-It mystery! Choose your character when you purchase your ticket at the bookstore and dress accordingly! Enjoy a three course meal and meeting new friends as you get thick in to the twisted plot at this Mystery Dinner!

A Murder Concealed in Moriarty's Band

The script was written for all male parts. No cross dressing. All parts can be played as a Male or Female with your creative mind. For example. If you are Abe and you are a female come dressed as Abigail and play the part as a woman.

Not some few years have passed since the days of glory under Professor Moriarty; only recently are the prosecuted members of his band returning to society after completing their sentences of penal servitude. Tonight, for the first time, they reunite in an abandoned warehouse near the Italian district to discuss future plans.
All seems in order until a cry echoes through the empty rooms. Sir George Burnwell, a gambling crook interested in joining the crime gang, has been murdered. After regrouping at a safe location, the rest of Moriarty's broken band tries to sort out the murder. If they do not arrive at a solution, Sherlock Holmes will.

Seat 1: Abe Slaney

Costume Suggestion: You are a tall, handsome, swarthy fellow, clad in a suit of gray flannel, with a Panama hat, a bristling black beard, and a great, aggressive hooked nose, and flourish a cane as you walk.

Seat 2: Alec Cunningham

Costume Suggestion: You are a dashing young fellow, with a bright, smiling expression and showy dress typical of an educated country gentleman. You no longer own a dressing-gown.

Seat 3: Hugo Oberstein

Costume Suggestion: As a spy, your wardrobe is extremely versatile and nondescript. Look the part of an independent gentleman, but don't draw attention to the import of your mission. You own a small police club.

Seat 4: John Clay

Costume Suggestion: You are small, stout-built, very quick in your ways, no hair on your face, though you're not short of thirty. Have a white splash of acid upon your forehead. The knees of your trousers are dirty

Seat 5: Colonel Sebastain Moran

Costume Suggestion: You are an elderly man, with a thin, projecting nose, a high, bald forehead, and a huge grizzled moustache. You may or may not own an opera hat, an evening dress shirt, and an overcoat

Seat 6: James Wilder

Costume Suggestion: You are small, nervous, alert, with intelligent, light-blue eyes and mobile features. You have a habit of dashing about on bicycles that dishevels your wardrobe. Dress the part of a Duke's secretary.

Seat 7: Jack Woodley

Costume Suggestion: You are hideously strong with a rather florid complexion. Look the part of a gentleman, however, with the proper waistcoat. You still wear the wedding ring from your false marriage as a souvenir

Seat 8: Beppo the Italian

Costume Suggestion: By profession, you're a sculptor. You are an alert, sharp-featured simian man, with thick eyebrows and a very peculiar projection of the lower part of the face, like the muzzle of a baboon.
