Project Sugar is an organization that helps out with an after-school program held at Sugar City's Kershaw intermediate and Jr. High School for children between the 3rd and 8th grade. The schools are about 1/2 mile apart from each other. The students participate in a wide variety of activities daily including things such as art, soccer, dance, lego robotics, computers, science, ping pong, etc. This program involves about 80 kids at Kershaw and about 30 kids at the Jr. High. The university student volunteers are asked to attend these activities with the kids and help provide mentoring for them.
