Project Sugar
New after school programs at the Sugar Salem School District. We are in the process of getting our program underway and are in need of volunteers to help work with our kids. We are servicing grades 3-8 and are having our programs at both the Kershaw Intermediate School and the Jr. High.
We meet Monday- Thursday at 2:45 outside of MC 101 (Activities Office)
Our programs will run Monday through Thursday from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM.We will begin our program on Tuesday October 16.
Our students will be enrolled in a variety of programs ranging from writers club to Lego robotics. I am reaching out to see if there is any interest from students at the university to help be a positive role model in these students lives. We would greatly appreciate any help or advice that you could offer. I can be reached by email or phone and would also be more than willing to come visit with you and tell you a little bit more about our program. Thank you for any time you could give to this project.
