Students have the opportunity to help organize and plan this project for an off-campus location and spend a week dedicated to service.
Last semester for Project Inspire we worked with Habitat for Humanity in Idaho Falls and with BYU-Idaho doing various service projects on campus.
This semester we will be doing a garage swap. We have projects ranging from blanket tying to photobook making to a garage swap.
We will be making camp in the I-Center on June 29 from 10 am - 4 pm and there will be plenty of service to do! There will be food, music, friends and fun! MORE INFORMATION ON THE GARAGE SWAP: A group of students are holding a "garage swap" event on campus on June 29th from 10am-1pm as part of the annual Project Inspire service day.
Students will be able to bring their used items to the stadium on June 15 and 22 to trade for tickets of the same monetary value. They can then bring their tickets to the main event on the 29th in the BYU-I Center to trade in for other donated items. If students would like to come to the garage swap but don't have anything to donate, they can bring cans on the day of the event to trade for tickets. Cans and any items left behind will be donated to local charities.
Come join us for a full day of service!
