Kid connection is a program offered through Service activities in which BYU-Idaho students have the opportunity to go out into the community and expand their influence. Student volunteers participate as friends and mentors in various afterschool programs put on in the middle schools and elementary schools. Working with a wide variety of ages and activities, students are given the opportunity to expand their skills and gain valuable experience which can be directly applicable to their major. This Program offers students valuable volunteer experience as they dedicate one hour a week to visit their chosen school's after school program. Students will cultivate their talents as they reach out to the middle school and elementary school students in diverse ways. Every volunteer in this program is given the privilege to make a difference in the life of those students whom they serve.
