Who can use the Feilds: Campus Community

Please review the Brief Summary of Fields and the Field Rules located below.

Open from 5a.m. to 11:30p.m.

Many of the fields are used by the campus for events check the schedule to see when free-play is or schedule an event yourself by calling the scheduleing office at: (208) 496-3120.

Brief Summary of Fields:

The play fields are recreational areas on campus used for free play and often scheduled for competitive and recreational sports and campus activities. The four-plex, located on 7th South, contains two artificial turf multi-use play fields (often used for soccer and frisbee) and two softball diamonds. The stadium field, located on South 1st West consists of an outdoor track and an artificial turf used for football, frisbee, and soccer. The upper fields, located on Center Street are used for campus dances, ward activities, and recreational sports including volleyball, frisbee, and flag football. Please use these fields to enhance your BYU-I experience. 

Field Rules:

  • Please do not use grass fields immediately after heavy rain etc. so the fields are not damaged.

  • Please do not enter fields that have the entry gate locked.

  • BYU-Idaho dress and grooming standards apply.

  • No unauthorized personnel or vehicles allowed on track and field.

  • No flammable materials allowed.

  • No food, seeds (sunflower or pumpkin) or gum allowed on field.

  • No drink or colored drinks allowed on field.  (water only)

  • No metal cleats on fields.

  • No animals or golfing allowed on fields.
