Master and Section Configurations

Possible Configurations

There are three possible configurations between a course master and section(s), as illustrated below.

A Master With a Single Section Linked to It

A Master With Multiple Sections Linked to It; Sections are Separated

This configuration is appropriate if you teach multiple sections of the same course, and you prefer to manage each class of students separately.

This configuration is appropriate if you teach multiple sections of the same course, and you prefer to manage the classes of students collectively.
