Academic accommodations include such things as the following
These accommodations are considered on an individual basis determined on the clinical information and by an interactive dialog with the student who has a disability.
If needed, written descriptions of specific accommodations may be sent to instructors or requested by students. With students' permission, clinical information regarding the disability may also be shared with instructors to help in providing better services.
All students, regardless of disability issues, are encouraged to take advantage of the services offered through the Academic Learning Department located in the McKay Library on the 3rd floor, East wing. Elevator access is provided
These services are provided at no extra cost to the student. It is the student's responsibility to contact the centers and make arrangements for services. Information can be found on the BYU-Idaho home page by following the prompts under "Students," then "Services," to "Academic Learning." A person may also call the Department at (208) 496-4271.
