Note: If you have already selected a student to fill an internship position, there is no need to post the internship in our database - the database is designed to advertise for applicants. Students will bring the job posting information to us when they initiate the internship registration process.
You have several options available to you through the database for accepting applications - students may send their application materials to you, you can accept materials through your website, students may submit their application materials to you directly through Career Navigator, you may use pre-selection criteria and review resumes online, etc. The Academic Discovery Center also has the ability to send pre-screened email messages to select students (identifying specific majors, GPA levels, etc.). These messages will go directly to qualified students informing them of the position, encouraging them to apply.
Please be advised that not all students are approved for credit for experiences. See guidelines for hosting an intern for general considerations. It is the student's responsibility to take the necessary steps to request credit for their experience.
If you need written verification of an intern's status, please contact our office.
