BYU-Idaho on-campus internship policies have been revised. The new policies took effect January 1, 2010, beginning with all Winter 2010 internships. These policy changes are intended to provide students with better quality experiences, comparable to off-campus internships. Students will be able to focus on gaining valuable skills, rather than trying to juggle the demands of work and school simultaneously.
President Clark and the President's Executive Group have determined that on-campus internships should allow "Accounting students to work in accounting positions, under the qualified supervision of an Accountant", and so forth.
A list of pre-approved internships can be obtained from the Academic Discovery Center. Please contact Justin Hodges, Career Services and Employer Relations manager over internships, for more information.
