Associate Academic Vice President of Curriculum


Education and Academic Profession

Van Christman serves as the Associate Academic Vice President for Curriculum. He has worked in many positions at Brigham Young University-Idaho, including being a faculty member in the Biology Department since 1992, Department Chair for Teacher Education, Director of Institutional Research,  and the Dean of the College of Agriculture and Life Science. He was awarded the BYU-Idaho Distinguished Faculty Award (2006). Van Christman graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology and a Master's Degree in Entomology. He received his Doctorate Degree in Aquatic Entomology from Virginia Tech.
