Cost

The travel portion of the tour is $3475.  This includes round-trip airfare from Salt Lake City, all travel expenses in Europe (all hotels, meals, museum entrance fees, local transportation, tickets to a play and a concert/opera). Note: Tuition, fees and the cost of room and board during the on-campus instruction are NOT included in the tour cost.

 

Payment  

Payment for the travel portion of the tour may be paid in full after being accepted into the program or paid by the following payment plan: 

                        $300  deposit by November 10

                        $900  due by January 20

                      $1100  due by February 20

                      $1175  due by March 20

It is important that you make payments before the deadlines as we will be purchasing airline tickets in November and making deposits for housing, the bus line, museum admissions, etc.

 

Payments may be made to the Brigham Young University-Idaho Cashiers Office, KIM 138I, Rexburg, ID 83460-1625 either in person, by mail (make checks payable to Brigham Young-Idaho), or on-line by e-check or by MasterCard only with a 2% fee.  Specify that the payment is a deposit for the Humanities travel-study program.   

 

The cost of tuition will be charged to each student's account by the university at the time registration is completed. 

 

Cancellations

Cancellation fees can cost the tour upwards of thousands of dollars. Please plan carefully before committing to participate in a travel-study program.  If you choose not to participate once you have been accepted into the European Study program, you must notify the Department of Humanities and Philosophy in Taylor 240 in writingCancellations received verbally, over the phone, or to program directors will not be accepted. There will be no refund of the $300 deposit for cancellations. Expenses incurred above the $300 will also be charged to the student 's account and will remain due and payable to the university.
