GPA Requirements

The Elementary Education Major requires that you maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.75 (minimum). It also requires that you receive a C- or higher in all required courses. If you get a grade lower than C-, the class must be retaken until you earn a grade higher than C-. If your GPA falls below a 2.75, a warning is sent to you and you have 1 semester to bring it up. If you do not bring it up to a 2.75 or higher you will be dropped from the major. You will not be able to declare your major as ELED again until you have had a GPA of 2.75 or higher for an entire semester after you were dropped from the program.
