"This is the Lord's university, a temple of learning, a disciple preparation center. When you look in the mirror in the morning before you walk on this campus, say to yourself: "I want to be a disciple of the Savior; and I am going to look like, and act like, and, in fact, be a disciple of the Savior today."

The Vision of Every Student an Ambassador:
President Clark has encouraged every student to be an ambassador for this university. It has been said that every student at BYU-Idaho should have a desire to testify of their experiences here.
Student Ambassadors implement this vision by teaching students at BYU-Idaho how to spread the spirit of the university. Doing this will help prepare future students for the optimal BYU-Idaho experience.
At a devotional in 2007, President Clark said, " You are like the water in a river, full of life, on your journey. You are on your way, preparing to be disciples of Christ and leaders in your families, in His Kingdom, and in the world." Prospective students can be prepared for this vision by YOU sharing your testimony, experiences, and teaching others what happens at BYU-Idaho and what it can offer any student.
The Student Ambassadors prepare students to become more effective representatives of BYU-I daho. Current students who are ready to share this message, in a variety of on and off campus venues, are invited to participate. Contact us at admambassador@byui.edu to find out how every student at BYU-I can be an ambassador. We'd love to have you join us in fulfilling this great mission.

"When you leave here today, please take the Spirit of Ricks with you. Please take BYU-Idaho and what it means and what it stands for with you. You now represent the university. I hope and pray that wherever you go, whatever you do, the people around you will see in you the principles and the purposes of BYU-Idaho and will feel the Spirit that is on this campus.
