Phi Theta Kappa

Phi Theta Kappa was the honor society on campus when BYU-Idaho was Ricks College. With the transition to BYU-Idaho, it became apparent that Phi Theta Kappa no longer met the needs of students on campus.

BYU-Idaho is no longer affiliated with Phi Theta Kappa and will not be offering membership into this society. However, other options exist for BYU-Idaho students interested in honor societies and recognition.

The BYU-Idaho Academic Society was established to reach a broader student body and reward academic excellence while expanding the minds of its members. It is seeking to become affiliated with a general, four-year national honor society.

Also, other academic societies exist on campus that cater to specific majors and fields of interest. Visit the links on the left of this page to find an academic society that's right for you!

Qualifying students in 2-year progams still have an opportunity to join this national honor society. Qualifying students in 4-year programs will be informed when BYU-Idaho has been invited to be associated with a national 4-year honor society.
