"We are not bound by tradition, nor are we limited to our own understanding or to the wisdom of men. In short, this is a very unusual university."

Woodwind Performance Promises to be “Magic for the Soul”
The Brigham Young University–Idaho Department of Music is pleased to present the Chamber Woodwinds concert on Thursday, March 19, at 7:30 p.m. This free concert will be held in the Snow Recital Hall in the Eliza R. Snow Center for the Performing Arts.
The Chamber Woodwind concert will feature music performed in duets, trios, quartets, quintets and even a dectet (group of 10 performers). All music will be played on woodwind instruments, with the exception of French horns accompanying the quintet group. The music to be performed will include various styles and periods.
The performers are music and non-music majors, however all are students at BYU–Idaho. Professor Bill Holman says both music majors and non-majors are invited to perform because, “Music is magic that fills our soul. Some students can’t live without it as part of their life on campus. Many will continue to play after graduation.”
The concert is open to both students and community members. Concert dress is required. For more information, please contact Bill Holman at holmanb@byui.edu.
