University Forum and Panel Discussion to be held at BYU-Idaho
David W. Glenn, former chief operating officer and president of Freddie Mac, will visit speak at the Brigham Young University-Idaho forum on Thursday, May 15 at 2:00 p.m. in the Taylor Chapel. His forum address and an accompanying panel discussion are titled "A Divine Stewardship: Man's Relationship with Nature." A question and answer session will follow the forum address at 3:00 p.m.
Glenn has spent over three decades as a successful businessman, working in a number of capacities. From 1971-1983, he held various faculty and teaching positions at the University of California at Berkeley, the University of North Carolina, Stanford University, the University of Utah, and Harvard University. Glenn has authored several articles and speeches, and holds a Ph.D. and MBA from Stanford University, and a BS degree from Weber State College.
A panel discussion will begin at 9:00 a.m. with experts in real estate development and investment, farm and ranch management, rangeland consulting, and ecology and social behavior. Three guest experts will speak from 9:00 to 9:45 a.m., followed by 30 minutes of questions and answers. At 10:30 a.m. another three guest experts will speak until 11:15 a.m., followed by 30 minutes of questions. More information about the day's events is available at www.adivinestewardship.com.
BYU-Idaho forums are held monthly to broaden the understanding of students. Leading experts of general interest are invited to speak and often take time to give master classes while they are on campus. Forums are open to the public and are also broadcast on KBYI-FM 100.5.

Brigham Young University-Idaho is a four-year private university located in Rexburg, Idaho. The university, which is affiliated with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, offers both baccalaureate and associate degrees; integrated degrees and internships that are tailored to fit students' interests; a year-round track system allowing more students to attend; and an extensive Student Activities Program that provides leadership and growth experiences.
