BYU-Idaho Financial Aid and Scholarship Office changes name to better reflect mission
The Brigham Young University-Idaho Financial Aid and Scholarships Office has changed its name to the Student Financial Aid Office. This new name is designed to better reflect its mission and purpose.
"The name change reflects the combining of need-based aid and scholarships into one office to better serve students," said Aaron Sanns, director of Financial Aid and Scholarships. "We are here to serve students and to help everyone receive a quality education, regardless of financial status."
The Student Financial Aid Office has also recently altered its financial aid packaging, creating a more inclusive package for students.
"Serving the student is a priority of this office. We want to ensure the best possible student financial aid," Sanns said.
The Student Financial Aid Office is located on the first floor of the Spencer W. Kimball Student and Administrative Services Building. A variety of information and certain services are also available online at http://www.byui.edu/FinancialAid.
