BYU-Idaho students and employees encouraged to participate in SnowFEST
Brigham Young University-Idaho students and employees are encouraged to take part in this year's SnowFEST, presented by the City of Rexburg on January 25 and 26. SnowFEST, the city's annual celebration of the New Year, is designed to bring family and friends together through community activities and events.
Activities for this year's event include Snowmobile Races, Horse Wagon Rides, Snowman Bowling and a Christmas Tree Bonfire. As with every year, the activities will conclude with the popular polar bear swim where participants will take a chilling plunge into ice cold water and swim with others seeking a frigid adventure.
SnowFEST officially begins at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, January 25 and concludes with a slideshow presentation of the event's activities at the Westwood Theater on Saturday, January 26 at 7:00 p.m. A special welcome packet benefiting new community members will be distributed at the event. The packet contains valuable coupons and flyers explaining local services.
All events are free and complimentary hot chocolate will be provided at outdoor events. For further information concerning the event, as well as a complete list of activities, visit http://www.rexburg.org/.
