Pianist William Joseph to perform at
BYU-Idaho
Up-and-coming piano virtuoso William Joseph will perform Saturday, Oct. 27, at 7:30 p.m. in the Hart Auditorium at BYU-Idaho in Rexburg as part of the Center Stage Performing Arts Series.
Tickets for the concert can be purchased from the BYU-Idaho Ticket Office by calling 496-2230 or online at www.byui.edu/tickets. Tickets are $10 for the general public and $5 for BYU-Idaho students.
Joseph combines his classical piano training with his love for rock music to produce a unique music style. From Franz Liszt to Led Zeppelin, Joseph reinvents and interprets well-known music as well as creating original pieces.
"I've always loved performing works by the great composers like Chopin," Joseph said, "But I was always a rocker at heart."
Joseph has been touring with the vocal group Il Divo. He toured with Josh Groban in 2004 and Clay Aiken in 2005, as well as supported such artists as Barbara Streisand, Natalie Cole and Kenny G at concerts around the United States.
