LDS artists to be featured at BYU-Idaho inspirational music showcase
A variety of Latter-day Saint performing artists will be featured at an inspirational music showcase in the Kirkham Auditorium at Brigham Young University-Idaho in Rexburg Friday, June 15, at 7:30 p.m.
The Sounds of Zion showcase is sponsored by the BYU-Idaho Center Stage Performing Arts Series. Tickets for the concert are available to the general public from the BYU-Idaho Ticket Office by calling 496-2230 or online at www.byui.edu/tickets. The cost is $8 for the general public and $4 for BYU-Idaho students.
Popular songwriter and performer Steven Kapp Perry will host the evening of performers that will include vocalists Jessie Clark Funk, Rebecca Lopez and Sam Payne, along with guitarist Michael Dowdle. Also featured will be One Clear Voice, an all-women's group that includes Tammy Simister Robinson, Tanya Barkdull, LaRene Tinney and Johanne Freschette Perry.
