Brigham Young University-Idaho students voted for three new student body officers to represent them during Winter Semester 2006. Primary elections were held on November 29 and 30, followed by final elections on December 1 and 2.

Trent Buehler, a junior from Malad, Idaho, was elected student body president. Mathew Burdick, a senior from Sturbridge, Massachusetts, was chosen as student body executive vice president. Nephi Price, a junior from Driggs, Idaho, was voted in as student body administrative vice president.

“I am excited about my new position and am willing to do whatever it takes to help this school move forward,” said Buehler.

Some of the responsibilities of these newly called officers will include living and teaching the Honor Code of the university, representing the student body to the administration and working with the school’s Activities Program council to coordinate student events.
