    BYU-Idaho Spori Art Gallery
    hosts traveling exhibit
     

    REXBURG, Idaho –
     

    The Spori Art Gallery at Brigham Young University-Idaho is currently hosting a traveling exhibit of photographs by Mary Peck. The exhibition is titled Away Out Over Everything: The Olympic Peninsula and the Elwha River. It will show through December 15 on the Rexburg, Idaho campus.

    Mary Peck works out of her studio in Port Angeles, Washington. She has been photographing landscape in various parts of the world for over thirty years. She is known for her photographs of the southwest and the Florida Everglades.

    This exhibition is selected from Peck’s most recent body of work inspired by the landscape and wildness of the Pacific Northwest. It features 30 wide format photographs that capture the mystery of the land and touches on issues of land management and conservation of nature.

    The traveling exhibition was organized by the Nora Eccles Harrison Museum of Art, Utah State University, Logan, Utah.

    The Spori Art Gallery is open Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Admission is free of charge.
