    BYU-Idaho Music Department to present several events before the end of the Fall 2005 Semester

    The Brigham Young University-Idaho Music Department will perform several events before the completion of the Fall 2005 Semester. Some events will celebrate the holiday season with a Christmas theme.

    The scheduled events include:

    • Woodwinds and Brass Concert on Wednesday, November 30 at 8:30 p.m. in the Barrus Concert Hall
    • New World Symphony on Thursday, December 1 at 2 p.m. in the Barrus Concert Hall
    • University Orchestra on Thursday, December 1 at 8:30 p.m. in the Barrus Concert Hall
    • Jazz Lab Band on Friday, December 2 at 7:30 p.m. in the Kirkham Auditorium
    • Wind Ensemble on Tuesday, December 6 at 7:30 p.m. in the Kirkham Auditorium
    • Percussion Ensemble on Wednesday, December 7 at 8:30 p.m. in the Barrus Concert Hall
    • Strings and Orchestra Concert on Thursday, December 8 at 8:30 p.m. in the Barrus Concert Hall
    • Sound Alliance on Saturday, December 10 at 7:30 p.m. in the Kirkham Auditorium
    • The Messiah Sing-along on Sunday, December 11 at 7 p.m. in the Hart Auditorium

    Ticket costs for each of the events is $1 for students and $2 for non-students, except for the New World Symphony and Messiah Sing-along, which are free. Tickets can be purchased at the BYU-Idaho Ticket Office in the Manwaring Center or online at http://www.byui.edu/Tickets/.
