    KBYI AND KBYR To Rebroadcast
    BYU-Idaho Inauguration
     

    REXBURG, Idaho-
     

    KBYI and KBYR, radio stations operated by Brigham Young University-Idaho, will rebroadcast the Inauguration of BYU-Idaho President Kim B. Clark. KBYR, 91.5 FM, will air the proceedings Saturday, October 22 at 9 a.m. KBYI, 100.5 FM, will run the program again the following evening, Sunday, October 23, at 6 p.m.

    The event featured performances by the choirs and orchestra of BYU-Idaho and addresses by several leaders of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints including President Gordon B. Hinckley and Elder W. Rolfe Kerr, Commissioner of the Church Educational System. Other dignitaries such as the honorable Lawrence H. Summers, President of Harvard University and Idaho Governor Dirk Kempthorne also spoke.

    KBYI, which is owned and operated by Brigham Young University-Idaho, broadcasts from the campus at a power of 100,000 watts to Southeastern Idaho and parts of Wyoming and Montana. Programming sources include NPR, and American Public Media, as well as locally produced news and public affairs programming. Devotionals from Brigham Young University-Idaho are broadcast live at 2 p.m. on Tuesday and repeated that evening at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 5 p.m. Classical music, jazz and folk music can be heard along with news and information 24 hours each day.

    KBYR, broadcasting to the Rexburg community, offers an all-inspirational format, 24 hours a day.
