BYU-Idaho Snow Society to host student, faculty concert

REXBURG, Idaho–The Eliza R. Snow Society for the Performing and Visual Arts invites its members and other community members who are interested in BYU-Idaho arts to attend a free concert Friday, Nov. 8, at 7:30 p.m. in the Barrus Concert Hall in the Snow Center for the Performing Arts in Rexburg.

BYU-Idaho faculty members and students will perform instrumental and vocal pieces by a variety of composers.

The Snow Society was established in 1996 to advance the arts at BYU-Idaho. Members, primarily community patrons who love the arts, make financial contributions that enhance the programs by providing materials and scholarships, creating a mutually beneficial relationship, says Alton Hansen, director of annual giving.

The society typically hosts two events annually. Although tickets for the free concert are not required, the society asks those who plan on attending the concert to RSVP at 496-1128. Those interested in joining the 300-member society or who wish to receive an informative brochure may do so at the same number. # # #
