President of Deseret Book to speak

at University Forum

 

           Deseret Book President and CEO Sheri Dew will speak on “communicating with skill and spirit” at the BYU-Idaho University Forum Thursday, Oct. 24, at 2 p.m. in the Taylor Chapel.

            The forum will be carried live on KBYI, 100.5 FM. Overflow for the forum will be held in standard devotional locations. Additionally, a question-and-answer session following the forum.

Dew is a native of Ulysses, Kansas, and graduate of Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. She has authored several books, including the biographies of two presidents of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, President Gordon B. Hinckley and President Ezra Taft Benson.She also served as second counselor in the church’s Relief Society, the Church’s organization for women, from 1997 to 2002.

Dew serves as president of Deseret Book, a church publishing company and retail bookstore chain headquartered in Salt Lake City.
