REXBURG,
Idaho – Brigham Young University-Idaho has made an adjustment to the
summer school enrollment policy for Fall/Winter track students. The credit level
required for Fall/Winter track students to enroll has been changed to 60
credits in anticipation of additional space during the summer 2005
semester.
To help ensure classes are available for Summer Track students,
Fall/Winter Track students with 60 or more credits will be required to
register after Summer Track students have registered. Registration dates
for Fall/Winter Track students planning to graduate at the end of the
summer will be based on their total number of completed credits.
The policy for summer enrollment was designed to better accommodate
the growing number of Summer Track students.
The new policy particularly affects Fall/Winter Track students wanting
to take summer classes. Unlike past years, Fall/Winter Track students will
only be allowed to take summer classes if they have completed 60 or more
credits by the end of Winter Semester.
The 60-credit level may be adjusted annually. Ample notice will be
given if the credit level changes.
Summer Track students may continue to apply for the Fast Grad
program following their sophomore year. If granted, those students will be
eligible to attend school year round.
