Text I submitted for a test, Self & Peer Assessment, Wiki, or Blog (Journal) is garbled or missing

 

This can occur if you copy text directly from Microsoft Word or other similar programs.  When text is copied from Word, it will carry extra formatting code that can cause a browser to not read it correctly. 

 

Solution 1:

  1. Within Word or another program, copy the text.
  2.  Paste the text into a program such as Notepad.
  3. Select all the text in Notepad.
  4. Copy the text.
  5. Paste the text into the I-Learn text box.

Solution 2:

  1. Within Word or another program, copy the text.
  2. Paste the text into the I-Learn text box.
  3. Select all of the text
  4. Click the <X> (clear formatting) button.
