The Conceptual Aim of the Department of Health Sciences is to:
- Provide students with quality instruction and "hands-on" training in the development and understanding of health care skills and services.
- Provide opportunities where learned skills and services can be practiced to better prepare students for future employment.
- Provide leadership and involvement opportunities for personal growth and development throughout the student's Health Science experience.
- Help students increase their personal awareness of how their lifestyle affects their current health and risk for future disease.
- Contribute to a student's adoption and/or a continuation of a wellness oriented lifestyle.
