About Get Connected
At the start of each semester, block, or summer session, BYU-Idaho holds Get Connected for new students. Get Connected schedules range from a 1/2 day, full day, or two-day experience, depending on the start date and number of new students admitted for that start date.

Get Connected Registration
There is no pre-registration or online registration for Get Connected. Students will register for Get Connected during registration times posted on the Get Connected schedule. The registration process places each new student in an I-Team (see below) and allows the University to track student participation in Get Connected. At larger Get Connected sessions student volunteers called I-Reps will be at many of the housing complexes on the move-in/student services day to help register new students for Get Connected.

I-Team
An I-Team is a grouping of approximately 20-25 new students as part of Get Connected. I-Teams are led by two or more current students who volunteer to serve as I-Team Leaders. New students will participate in the key gatherings and events during Get Connected as an I-Team.
