THOMAS E. RICKS BUILDING:  

FACTS:    President James E. Faust, second counselor in the First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day 
Saints, presided over the groundbreaking on Saturday, April 26, 2003.   The 56,200 square foot building includes 23 
classrooms, 58 offices, and four secretarial reception areas.  It houses the Departments of Mathematics;  History,
Geography and Political Science; Psychology; and Sociology and Social Work.   The building wad dedicated
February 18, 2005, by Elder David A. Bednar of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles. (January 2005)


Floral Demonstration Gardens: The renovated Thomas E. Ricks Gardens form a new quad between 
several major buildings, with new sidewalks, lighting, sprinkler systems, more trees and redesigned flower beds.
