DAVID O. McKAY LIBRARY:  

FACTS:  Groundbreaking was held in 1962. Construction was completed in 1963 and Elder Marion G. Romney 
of the Council of the Twelve, dedicated the building. In 1976, the McKay Library moved into a new three-story 
building to the west and the schools administration moved into the original library area.  
Administration then moved into the Kimball Building in 1999. The original McKay building and the west annex, 
now constitute the David O. McKay Library with expanded computer and media facilities.
