Nursing Classes Online: Registration Information

Which BSN courses are offered online?

All BSN classes are offered online through Continuing Education (CE) at BYU-Idaho. Each course contains three sections for differing registration needs as follows:

 

Section  Class format Eligible Students
1 On-campus Both tradition and non-traditional students.
701 Online Only students with an admission status of  "off-campus."
930 Online All students whose admission status is not "off-campus."

Please return to the on-campus registration page if you need to register for section 1.

 

How do I know which online section to register for?

All BSN students are eligible to enroll in an online section of all BSN classes. Knowing which online section to register for depends on your admission status with the university.

 

If registering for one online section, like 701, does not work; then please try the other online section. If section 701 does not allow you to register, then section 930 will.

Before registering for the appropriate online section, please review your assigned completion plan of the nursing classes and register accordingly:

 

The Full-time Plan

The Part-time Plan*

1st semester: 316 & 330

2nd semester: 327 & 449

3rd semester: 338** & 450

1st sem: 316 

2nd sem: 330

3rd sem: 327

4th sem: 449

5th sem: 338

6th sem: 450

*Before Summer 2008 semester, the part-time plan began with 450; otherwise, the sequence is the same as above. 
**Math 221: Principles of Statistics is a prerequisite for this class.
