1.  Where is Badger Creek Located?

Badger Creek is located approximately three miles north of Tetonia, Idaho, and 45 miles northeast of Rexburg.  (Return to questions)

 

2.  How much does the Badger Creek Program cost?

The Badger Creek 2009 program prices are shown below and may increase depending upon the workshops chosen:

 

  • $37 per person for one day including lunch
  • $46 per person for one day including lunch and dinner
  • $112 per person for three days and includes the following:

Day one - lunch and dinner

Day two - breakfast, lunch, and dinner

Day three - breakfast and lunch provided only

 

Note:  All workshop prices are included in the price shown above excluding the "horses" workshop.  An additional $10 per person will be added to the regular amount when choosing to ride horses as a workshop option.

 

Because the food is ordered and confirmed in advance for the amount of people in the group, these are set prices regardless of anyone in the group arriving late or leaving early.  (Return to Questions)

 

3.  When can we send in our application?

5.  When will we be notified if our application is approved?

Applicants will be notified by January 31 of the year the application is approved for.  (Return to questions) 

 

6.  Where do participants stay at Badger Creek?

Badger Creek participants stay in tents or tepees (provided by BYU-Idaho).  Small bunk cabins with three bunk beds in each are used for our first week of progamming.  (Return to questions) 

 

7.  Are there separate facilities for adult leaders?

Yes, separate facilities will be provided for adult leaders.   Priesthood brethren accompanying Young Women's groups should plan on bringing their own tent.  (Return to questions) 

 

8.  Can we provide our own food?

The food is provided by BYU-Idaho and is included in the one or three-day program cost. Food is not allowed at the campsites. (Return to questions) 

 

9.  Who coordinates the workshops, or do we provide our own staff?

The workshops are coordinated by the Badger Creek Ranch Staff.  If selecting a three-day program, you must choose one of your leaders to speak at the Fireside.  (Return to questions)

 

10.  Can Badger Creek be used for family reunions?

No. Scheduling is limited to scout camps, youth conferences, and young womens' groups at this time.  (Return to questions)

 

11.  How many participants can attend Badger Creek programs as a group?

The total number of all participants at one time varies between 48-90 people depending on the week your group plans to attend.  The capacity will be shown on the Badger Creek Scheduling Form at the time it is available for registration.
