SCHOLARSHIPS
BIOLOGY SCHOLARSHIP
The Biology Department
offers a few scholarships to qualified Biology majors.
These scholarships are intended for students of SOPHOMORE
(30+ credits) standing or higher and are awarded based on scholarship
and involvement. Applications for each semester are generally accepted during the
first month or two of each Fall and Winter Semester and during the first month of first
Summer term. After this period of each respective semester
or term, the department scholarship committee meets and recommends the awards
sometime after midterm of that semester or term. Application dates and
deadlines will be published on this website each semester. Emails
publishing these dates and deadlines will be sent to each biology major.
University scholarship policy indicates that scholarship amounts cannot exceed
full tuition.
To be considered for a Biology scholarship for the Summer 2005 Semester,
please complete and return the following application
before July 8, 2005.

semester, the Lyle and Darlene Lowder Scholarship is
