Continuing Education Concurrent Enrollment Visiting Students

 

Non-Traditional Students

 

Applicants who want to take 6 credits or less per semester may enroll as Non-Traditional students if they are not enrolled on a track at BYU-Idaho and meet any of the following criteria:

  • Married
  • Have a Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • 25 years of age or older
  • Single parent

Required Application Materials

  • Part 1 Student Information
  • Part 2 School Selection
  • Part 3 Ecclesiastical Endorsement
  • $30 Application Fee (if applicant has never applied to Ricks College or BYU-Idaho.)

Financial Aid

Non-Traditional students may qualify for financial aid if they do not already have a Bachelor’s degree. To be considered for financial aid, submit the following to the Admissions Office:

  • High School Transcript
  • College Transcripts

You will also need to fill out a FAFSA form, obtainable at the BYU-Idaho Financial Aid Office. If you have any questions regarding financial aid, contact Financial Aid at (208) 496-1015.

 

Deadlines and Processing:

There are no deadlines for Non-Traditional applicants; however, class availability is limited. Please ensure all application materials are received in the Admissions office at least one week prior to the desired registration date.
