CES Instructors

BYU-Idaho places a strong emphasis on seminary and institute attendance and recommendations. As we continue the ongoing effort to attract and admit applicants who are spiritually and academically prepared, we encourage instructors to be descriptive in their recommendations, giving a perspective of the applicant’s character and attitude as much as possible.

If a student is continually lacking in attendance, please share any information you may have as to reasons for absence. While seminary graduation is not mandatory for admission to BYU-Idaho, admission is significantly more difficult for those who do not graduate; where possible, make-up work is encouraged for students who have missed large amounts of time. To be applicable, make-up work should be submitted prior to the application deadline for the student’s desired beginning semester.
