Application Types

 

New Freshmen (Click here to print an application checklist.)

High school graduates who do not have college credit.

 

New Freshmen with College Credit (Click here to print an application checklist.)

High school graduates with college credit earned while in high school (not including AP, IB, or CLEP credit).

 

Transfer - less than 30 credits (Click here to print an application checklist.)

Students with less than 30 semester or 45 quarter hours completed after high school graduation.

 

Transfer - 30 credits or more (Click here to print an application checklist.)

Students with at least 30 semester or 45 quarter hours completed after high school graduation. Credits must be complete by the application deadline after high school graduation.

 

Former Students (no other credit) (Click here to print an application checklist.)

Former full-time Ricks College or BYU-Idaho students who have no additional credit from another school or Institute program since last attending Ricks or BYU-I.

 

Former Transfer (Click here to print an application checklist.)

Former full-time Ricks College or BYU-Idaho students with additional credit from another school(s) or Institute program since last attending Ricks or BYU-I.

 

Former Visiting or Continuing Education (Click here to print an application checklist.)

Students whose only former college credit is earned through Visiting Student or Continuing Education enrollment.

 

Visiting < 30 credits (Click here to learn more.)

Students applying to attend BYU-Idaho for summer semester only with fewer than 30 semester or 45 quarter credits completed at the time of application.

 

Visiting > 30 credits (Click here to learn more.)

Students applying to attend BYU-Idaho for summer semester only with at least 30 semester or 45 quarter credits completed by the time of application.

 

Concurrent Enrollment (Click here to learn more.)

Students applying to attend BYU-Idaho part-time while still attending high school.

 

Non-Traditional (Click here to learn more.)

Students applying for part-time status at BYU-Idaho.
