Internal Revenue Service Mileage Update

IRS mileage reimbursement rates for travel will increase July 1, 2008.  The full approved rate for travel at BYU Idaho will be 58 cents a mile.  Other personal vehicle travel will be 29 cents a mile.  This special mid-year adjustment is in recognition of recent gasoline price increases. Normally rate adjustments occur once a year in the fall for an effective date of January 1 of the next calendar year.
